You'll find the executioner below, in the dungeon. Borislav.
He was the royal executioner before any of this. Work like any other: the sentence is signed, he carries it out. He never asked what for, and he never dragged it out. He wasn't cruel, {name}, just cold: in twenty years nobody on that square heard a word from him beyond orders to his assistants. They say he'd look the condemned calmly in the eye — to make it easier for them.
Then the castle was taken, and he was taken with everyone else. He's no different from the queen, or from Roman: none of them chose this. A curse takes whatever was in a person — Borislav had his work. Nothing else of him is left.
He won't ask who you are. He'll look you over, work out which side is handier, and begin — the way he always began.
Make it quick, {name}. He's past helping, so at least don't make him suffer.
